Using Apple Silicon 40-core chip in the new Mac Pro

 Following Apple's introduction of the first M1 chip, the company is working on developing a new prototype of its silicon chip to power its future devices. Bloomberg has said that it has new information about the new Mac Pro and the new Mac Mini.

It is rumored that Apple's next-generation Mac Pro will be twice as small as its predecessor, and now some information and specifications of the chip have been revealed. Two versions of the device will be available, one with a 20-core chip and the other with a 40-core chip, while the GPU will have 64 or 128 cores.

The new MacProds, codenamed 2CD and 4CD, offer high-performance 16- and 32-core chips that have low-power cores for less power.

In the case of the Mac Mini, the device is expected to be a significant upgrade over the current version. The new Mac mini is said to use a 10-core CPU or 32- or 64-core GPUs. The new device will have two more ports in addition to the two existing ports and will support up to 64 GB of RAM.

The source added that Apple's new Mac Mini project is still in the early stages of construction and may take several years to launch or even be canceled altogether. A newer, more powerful version of the company, which uses Apple Silicon chips, is also under consideration, but no details have been released yet.
