Samsung Introduces New Smart Monitors
The range of Samsung smart monitors is expanding, and today the tech giant unveiled the M7 4K 43-inch monitor and the M5 24-inch Full HD monitor. These products are the largest and smallest smart monitors ever made.
Samsung introduced its series of smart monitors last year. These versatile displays use built-in speakers and take advantage of the company's smart TV capabilities, thanks to Samsung's Tizen platform. Users can run video applications such as Netflix directly and content production software such as Office 365 via the desktop remote control. Samsung smart monitors use a remote control that is compatible with Google, Alexa and Bixby voice assistants and supports DEX (Samsung desktop-like environment that runs on Galaxy smartphones).
The M7 series smart monitors support 4K resolution and are available in 43-inch and 32-inch versions. The M5 series monitors also support full HD resolution and will be available in 24-inch, 27-inch and 32-inch versions. Samsung has also introduced the white version of the 27-inch and 32-inch M5 series monitors.
Samsung has not yet announced the price of these products, but the 32-inch version of the M7 monitor retails for $ 399 and the 27-inch version of the M5 monitor retails for $ 229, so it is expected that the 43-inch M7 monitor will be slightly more expensive and the 24-inch M5 monitor slightly Be priced cheaper than these two products.
